About Mel and the Story behind
how i became A wedding photography expert
Fourteen years ago, I photographed my very first wedding — nervous, inspired, and completely unaware that this day would shape the rest of my life. Since then, I’ve captured over 200 weddings across Europe and beyond, from intimate mountain elopements to luxurious destination celebrations.
What started as a creative curiosity quickly became a full-time business and a lifelong passion. I’ve learned the hard way, through trial and error, late-night editing marathons, client challenges, and the constant evolution of style, gear, and branding.
Today, I don’t just photograph weddings — Together with my sister I guide photographers to build their dream careers in this industry. My workshops and retreats are spaces where we go beyond the basics. We talk about the craft and the mindset. The storytelling and the business. We shoot, share, reflect, and grow — together.
